KAAA Scholarship
At the February 1, 1995, meeting of the KAAA Board of Directors, the KAAA Scholarship Fund was established, founded by Bob Faust. Helena Chemical Company is also a major annual contributor to the scholarship fund. Memorial and honorary contributions are welcome at any time and may be sent to the KAAA Treasurer. It is the intent of the Board of Directors that the fund be maintained at an endowed level, so that the interest from the fund will provide the scholarship funds.

General Information
KAAA is offering one $2,500 scholarship annually to a high school graduate with special emphasis to relatives of current/paid KAAA members. This scholarship may be used for study at any university, junior college, vocational/trade school or for pilot instruction and certification
CRITERIA
Who Can Apply
You’ll need a recommendation from a current KAAA member, and an interest in a career in agriculture, ag business, aviation, or engineering. (related fields welcome)
THE PROCESS
Four Steps, One Deadline
Gather your materials
You'll need your high school transcript and a data sheet listing your work and school experience. The data sheet does double duty, so write it up early and share it with your references.
Line up two references
Pick two people who have known you at least three years. Relatives don't count. Send them the reference form below, which they can fill out online.
Submit the form below
Upload your transcript, data sheet, and references, and submit by January 31 for the school year starting that fall.
Watch for a decision
A seven-person committee reviews every application. Awards are announced by May 1, and funds are released once you send proof of enrollment to the Scholarship Committee Chairperson.

The Kansas Ag Aviation student scholarship application requires that the student have a minimum of two non-family individuals complete this Scholarship Reference form on their behalf.
